Visit to the Design Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum
Boys taking DT and Art Scholarships to their next school need to be inspired by their chosen subject. In order to widen their knowledge of art and design, we took the five candidates to London for the day to visit the Design Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum. The trains ran almost to time and despite the chilly weather we had a great day out. The boys looked around for ideas and inspiration, sketching and noting things down as they went so further research can be done back at school. The 3D printing and the theatre design model boxes proved to be of interest to the boys so perhaps we can combine the two ideas for their future projects!
