Celebrating the work of boys from Pre-Prep to Year 4
Each Wednesday Tiffany Squire, Deputy Head Academic, presents a ‘Celebration Assembly’ and this week there was so much excellent work that she focused just on Pre-Prep to Year 4.
In Bobcats, Huxford H was praised for doing well with his phonics and rhyming words and JoJo was congratulated for working hard on his shapes in Maths and Ollie in Panthers created an amazing story map for his version of ‘One Snowy Night’.
In Year 3, boys were celebrated for their work in Maths. We also saw some lovely examples of descriptive writing and poetry. It was also great to see some of the Science work that has been done over the last few weeks.
In Year 4, a number of boys were awarded the sought after Pen Licence and the Accelerated Reader programme was discussed by three of the boys who have been doing particularly well.
It was an uplifting assembly and all boys were congratulated on their efforts, whether they were mentioned individually or not.
