Welcoming Amy Gemmell in January 2025
Moulsford is delighted to announce the appointment of Amy Gemmell as Head of Moulsford’s Pre-Prep with effect from January 2025. Amy is currently the Head of Pre-Prep at Hornsby House, a leading co-educational prep school in Balham, London, a post she has held since 2018.
As Head of the Pre-Prep at Hornsby House, Amy leads an extremely happy and thriving school of 180 children. Amy’s educational philosophy is completely aligned with Moulsford, and she is committed to giving every child the best possible start to their educational journey, developing their skills and enthusiasm to thrive and enjoy school, helping them build their friendships and grow in confidence so that they give everything a go.
In Amy’s own words, “I am thrilled to be joining the Moulsford family at what is undoubtedly a very exciting time for the school and the future of the Pre-Prep. I look forward to building upon the strong values and excellent education for all children joining the School, and meeting the existing pupils and their families in due course. It is a huge honour to be given the opportunity to pave the way during this formative period of the children’s education whilst fostering the kindness, courage and curiosity at the heart of a Moulsford education.”
