Mischief in the Science Lab
This week Year 1 discovered that their class elves, Eddy and Edie, had spent the night getting up to mischief in the Science lab. A letter arrived via Polar Post to tell us of their misdemeanours: turning on gas taps to create explosions and flames while swinging from the ceiling (and then there was the mixing of chemicals to make yellow and purple puffs of smoke that made Mr English's eyes water)! Mr English clearly needed the elves safely out of the way, so the boys went to fetch them. Of course, the boys could not visit the lab without experiencing the magic of chemistry for themselves, so Mr English treated them to an afternoon of the spectacular and the awesome!
