Advice for the 2022 leavers
As part of the Year 8 leavers’ programme, we organised for a number of old Moles to come back and speak to our departing Year 8 boys. There were representatives from the following schools: Pangbourne, Wellington, Marlborough, Abingdon, Radley, Eton, Magdalen, Sherborne, and Uppingham. The boys covered every year at senior school so were able to, as a collective, speak about issues and how they affect different year groups.
Some of the advice was very impressive including comments such as: 'stay true to yourself and be authentic', 'however big a problem might seem there is always a way around it', 'take every opportunity you are given even if you think you won't enjoy it', 'ask questions in your first few weeks' and 'there is definitely a hierarchy on the bus!'
It is always so impressive to see how the boys do after they leave Moulsford and it was a pleasure to see these boys either virtually or in person being able to offer our boys such great advice.
