Guest Speakers for Years 7 and 8
Thursday saw another wonderful morning of enrichment for our Year 7 and 8 children as we celebrated World Mental Health Day. The boys were joined by Luke Dorn from Henley Man Club and also Will Flindall from Valley of Outlaws Podcast. Both guests spent approximately an hour with each year group and were received very positively by the boys.
Luke touched on the work he does supporting men in the local area and also helped the boys do an activity which helped them to look at their own lives and reflect on amongst other things behaviours they need to stop, start and also to continue.
Will (who left Moulsford in 2008) touched on his seven lessons for life that he has learnt from his podcast guests, which helped the boys to also reflect on behaviours and values that were important to them in their lives.
It was such a positive morning which had a really powerful effect on all the boys and staff who were a part of it. We look forward to supporting Luke and Will in their endeavours and welcoming them to Moulsford again soon.
