Bells of the World
5N delivered a really ap’peal’ing assembly on Thursday all about ‘Bells of the World’. They chimed in with lots of fascinating facts about famous bells and kept us amused with their bell-tastic puns! We heard about the crack in the Liberty Bell in America, learnt more about Big Ben and found out about some of the biggest and smallest bells in the world.
At the end we even had a brilliant rendition of ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’ played on some handbells. The boys then challenged their parents to come and play, with slightly more mixed results! The assembly concluded with a quick quiz on everything we had learned, with the boys achieving full marks!
Once again the class delivered their lines perfectly and with confidence, expression and provided their audience with lots of fun information.
