Year 3 trip to see The Pied Piper
After all their hard work performing, we thought it would be nice for the Year 3 boys to watch someone else perform for them! All of Year 3 went to Cornerstone Theatre in Didcot to watch the production of ‘The Pied Piper’.
The story included Peta, the Mayor's daughter, who started noticing strange things happening and decided to investigate. Just who is the magical stranger who has turned up in the village? As Christmas approaches, Peta tries to uncover the mystery of the Pied Piper before it's too late.
The production was very much enjoyed by all the boys and provided us with a great hook to look at the story of the ‘The Pied Piper’ in more detail in our English lessons. It was also wonderful for the boys to see Bertie W from Year 5 in the cast.
Pre-Prep trip to see Dick Whittington
The Pre-Prep had an amazing adventure to The Theatre Royal in Windsor this week. The performance of Dick Whittington was an exciting and exceptionally entertaining experience. Basil Brush was the lead rat catcher and the staff fondly reminisced about their childhoods - boom boom!
