Learning more about the Festival of Light
Year 1 and 2 were delighted to invite Risto's Grandparents, Rama and Nimmi, to explain the story of Rama and Sita. The boys were able to hear how prayers are spoken and see how religion is celebrated within the Hindu community. Rama and Nimmi brought in a model of a temple from South India, which is 60 years old and immersed boys in the atmosphere of the Festival of Light.
