Preparing scones for Show and Share
All children in Pre-Prep gathered in the hall, Pre-School and Reception on Tuesday and Years 1 and 2 on Wednesday, to produce more scones than you can shake a stick at. Knowing that Thursday meant our exciting Show and Share afternoon where parents were invited into school to look at their child's work and do an activity with them, we felt that we really should offer them an afternoon tea as well. That said everyone rolled up their sleeves and got stuck in. All ingredients were carefully measured and weighed by the children under the close guidance of their teachers; mixing, rubbing together and rolling were certainly a floury event and some children found themselves wearing more than they were stirring but the finished products were still something to be very proud of. Hopefully mummies and daddies enjoyed these culinary delights on Thursday afternoon.
