Pre-Prep

Whole of the Pre-Prep have fun in the woods

At the end of term we took all of the Pre-Prep up to the woods for our final Forest School outing of the year.  The boys enjoyed making friendship bracelets, working with clay and choosing a temporary bug tattoo to adorn their arm. There was a great mix of children playing together throughout the day busy building dens, moving rocks to make a fort, stalking dinosaurs and just enjoying each other’s company, something that is always so lovely to see and a real highlight of this particular day! We had hot dogs and grilled sweetcorn for lunch all cooked on the fire followed by chocolate cake!  We sang a couple of camp fire songs which was fun and the Year 2 boys had the opportunity to recreate the Great Fire of London with the houses they had made during their History lessons this term. Huge thanks go to all the staff who accompanied us and made the day possible.
