Sit on top kayaks
During after-school activities this term, Year 2 have been enjoying time in the pool getting their first taste of kayaking. Using the new sit on top kayaks purchased by the Moulsford Parents Association, the boys have been learning how to paddle and use the kayak to navigate all four corners of the pool. It is proving to be a great introduction to kayaking and giving them valuable experience before they move on to the river when they are older. We are not sure they realise quite how lucky they are yet capsizing into a warm swimming pool rather than the Thames, but they are most certainly all having fun!
