Tigers celebrate Holi
Year 1 have been studying the Hindu religion this term and over the last couple of weeks the boys have learnt all about the celebration of Holi, the festival of colours.
The boys have been very excited because part of the celebration involves throwing powder paint. On Tuesday the Tigers had their own Holi celebration and the boys came into school wearing old clothes and shoes ready for some paint throwing! Mr Corbett and Mr Skinner also came along to help but were less brave and arrived in full protective suits! That didn’t stop the boys from covering them in paint though!
We had a fantastic time and everyone ended up covered in a range of bright and cheerful colours. A lovely way to round off their learning this term.
