Musical fun at Pangbourne
On Tuesday this week eleven members of the orchestra enjoyed a day of music making at Pangbourne College. Great fun was had in the sectional rehearsals during which each group prepared a piece of music to perform on brass, woodwind, strings or percussion. Then later in the day, the whole orchestra came together to rehearse a medley of songs from The Sound of Music. Parents were invited to the Falklands Memorial Chapel to listen to a concert of the fruits of the boys’ labours. The day was a great success and a very good time was had by all. Many thanks to Pangbourne College for yet another brilliant day of music making as well as a delicious lunch!
