Exhilarating Maths Challenge Day
Cheltenham College played host to an exhilarating Maths Challenge Day, where young minds were really put to the test. Moulsford's team comprised of four boys from Year 5 - Harry RC, JoJo H, Finn R, and Gabriel E, alongside their Year 6 counterparts Freddie RC, Ollo C, Jasper D, and Joss B.
Each quartet faced four challenges; before lunch, they took part in the group round which required team problem solving and in the logic round the boys had to work out answers based on cryptic clues.
After a delicious lunch, of which hot chocolate was a firm favourite, the competition intensified. The shuttle round required coordination between the pairs and the relay round really put them under pressure (especially with the relentless ticking of the clock)!
It was a really enjoyable day which enabled the boys to show off their mathematical prowess, teamwork and strategic thinking. Truly a fine display of Moulsford’s values!
