A Mathematical Day for Year 5
On Thursday, four of our Year 5 budding mathematicians attended a Maths Challenge Day at The Oratory School. Ten different schools competed against each other in a range of challenges involving multiple choice questions on all topics, estimation of measure and problem solving. The boys had a fantastic time and were buzzing with excitement throughout. Although there was no prize for Moulsford this time the boys can be very proud of their resilience when facing challenging problems and their teamwork. Thank you to The Oratory for providing such a fun, challenging day including snacks and a fantastic lunch.
