Presentation on Islamophobia
During their TPR (Theology, Philosophy and Religion) lessons, 8E, 8M and 8R have been looking at the impact that the events of 9/11 had on the way American Muslims were subsequently treated. We discussed the events of the day in question and also the subsequent impact of conscious and unconscious bias. The boys produced presentations in groups which reflected this understanding and also looked to give advice to children of the future about how to make sure we are all treated equally.
