We are all Superheroes
On Wednesday, the children in Year 1 entertained their parents and the rest of Pre-Prep with a fantastic assembly about each child’s individual super power. We were enthusiastically introduced to a variety of characters including Captain Creativity, Captain Curiosity, Captain Maths, Draw-er the Explorer, Captain Construction, Captain Language and Captain Football. We heard what their special skills were and then each boy read some prose, explaining more about their own superpower and who inspires them.
Every boy was wearing a colourful cape featuring his own personal design, which they have been making at school over the last few weeks. The last part of the assembly was a lovely performance of an uplifting Superhero song before the boys shared their ‘Superhero’ file of work with their parents.
Year 1 truly are superheroes and we are very proud of them.
