Year 6 study ratio and proportion
To finish their recent Maths topic on ‘Ratio and Proportion’ the whole of Year 6 took part in a Mocktail Party, to cement their learning and also have some fun. The forms were all given a mocktail to make to put their knowledge about measurement into practice. One group had the Mathito, there was the Apple (Pi), the Mimathsa and the Daqarray! After lots of teamwork and putting ratios into practise to create the mocktails, the whole year group gathered by the river to enjoy a mocktail party, complete with Mrs Braden on the piano. It was fantastic to see the boys enjoying a drink and conversing before ending the gathering with an impromptu conga!
