Year 1 meet creatures from the deep
Did you know that lobsters wee from their eyeballs? How about that an octopus has nine brains; and can you work out where in its body these might be? Do you think a starfish is disgusting because it vomits its stomach to suck up its food? Year 1 thought so when learning all of these fascinating facts during their virtual tour of the National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth. On Thursday, Becky, our guide, took us on a wonderful adventure through ocean waters to meet a variety of colourful creatures, many of which kindly left their hiding places to greet us. What a fabulous morning!
