A Day at Wellington Country Park
What an absolute joy it was on Thursday, for Panthers and Pumas to spend time together exploring all that is on offer at Wellington Country Park. The boys’ adventure began at Animal Farm, where their knowledgeable guide, Helen, introduced them to a variety of animals. They were given plentiful opportunities to pet and feed the animals, ask and answer questions and comment on some remarkable animal behaviour - being particularly attentive when the pigs showed them how nature got there first when it comes to recycling liquids! The train ride that followed was truly magical - the boys could not help but excitedly call out every enchanting sight that they passed, of which there was a continuous flow. Then, it was on to explore the many adventure playgrounds, via dinosaur park, with a welcome break between to refuel. This was truly a day of smiles and laughter.
