Dear England
Year 7 went to London this week to watch a production of the new play ‘Dear England’ by James Graham. The play is a fictionalised account of how Gareth Southgate changed the culture around England football and especially the dreaded penalty shootout! The boys were lucky enough to meet Joseph Fiennes who plays Gareth Southgate in the show and spent time hearing from him and the rest of the cast afterwards. They were then extremely lucky to spend some time on stage getting both acting tips and also taking imaginary penalties! It really was a magical experience and one the boys and staff will not forget.
