Understanding Ancient Egypt
On Thursday the Year 3 boys went on an exciting History trip to the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford. The trip aimed to deepen the boys' understanding of Ancient Egypt by providing them with a unique opportunity to touch and feel artefacts that once belonged to the people of the Nile. The museum's extensive collection served as a tangible gateway to the past, allowing the boys to connect with history.
Guided by knowledgeable museum staff, the boys were immersed in the rich culture, art, and daily life of Ancient Egypt. From mummies to hieroglyphs, each exhibit sparked curiosity and ignited the imaginations of our budding historians. Engaging activities were woven into the experience, offering a hands-on approach that made learning both enjoyable and memorable. The museum staff expressed their praise for our boys' exceptional manners and subject knowledge. Well done boys!
