A celebration of public speaking
Four boys from Years 6 and 7 enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at Bradfield College, as they took part in the Demosthenes Competition, celebrating the art of wit and eloquence in public speaking. Whilst the Year 6 team gave a wonderful speech on why 'Grown-ups are a weird species', the Year 7 boys were equally engaging as they discussed why 'Monday should be the third day of a three-day weekend'.
The boys were a real credit to the school, and I'm delighted to report that the judges awarded the prize for Best School 2022 to Moulsford! A super effort all round, and a great team performance. Very well done to the boys, Dan H, Rory I, Billy V and Xander M, and also to every boy in Year 6 and 7 who took part in the internal competition. A lovely way to round off the project.
