A win in the Plate Competition
The 1st VII travelled to Cheltenham College last Friday to play in the IAPS hockey qualifier. The boys first played The Downs School, followed by Winchester House. Unfortunately, losing both of their pool games meant they were out of the Cup competition after some great hockey on show. They then continued on to the plate competition, winning all of their games and making it to the final against a strong St. Hugh's team. The boys showed superb character on and off the pitch to come back fighting to take the win 4-1.
Well done to all boys who took part in the tournament and many congratulations on your achievement.
