Teamwork and Perseverance

Boys from Years 3 and 4 attended a Maths competition at Shiplake this week with schools from across the area. It was a very close thing with only 8 points separating the first and last placed school.  The rounds included oral and written problems, a relay, 'say what you see' dingbats, and a challenge to build the tallest most intricate tower using spaghetti and marshmallows.  The three boys from Year 4 and three from Year 5 collaborated well to come up with their answers, displaying great teamwork and perseverance. It was a great experience for the boys to be a part of.
