A final celebration
Following on from the fantastic assemblies from 5S and 5GS about celebrations around the world, this week it was the turn of the boys in 5R. The Assembly once again featured boys both in school and at home and looked at celebrations including Australia Day, Matariki (Maori New Year) and Kukur Tihar (Hindhu Celebration Day for dogs).
The boys did a fantastic job and the rest of the school has enjoyed hearing about the different ways in which people celebrate around the globe.
