Nine boys through to the second round
A number of pupils submitted stories into the 500 Words competition earlier this year and we are delighted that nine of our boys have now made it through to the second round of the popular contest.
Oliver H, Harry T, Alfie G and Freddie M in Year 7, Monty D in Year 6, Henry B in Year 5 and Edward G, Theo H and Oli W in Year 4 have all been shortlisted for the final 5,000. The competition received over 135,000 entries so to get this far is a huge achievement.
The next round of judging takes place in May so we are keeping our fingers crossed for them all. Congratulations!
