Year 5 learn about Romans and Celts
This week Year 5 have enjoyed their Humanities work on the Romans and the Celts, while getting messy in the process. The four classes took part in a carousel of activities, which involved designing shields, learning to march like Roman soldiers, mapping the roads built by the Romans as well as building their own versions in take-away trays! The boys worked incredibly well both individually and in groups, and did amazingly to make sure that everyone had a container for their road as well!
