What have the Romans ever done for us?
What do you get when you cross some wigs, foam swords, a scooter and slow-motion fighting? The 5S Form Assembly of course! Loosely based around 'What have the Romans done for us?', the boys traced the impact of Roman rule in Britain via references to Star Wars, Celtic culture, Boudicca's revolt and the impact of Roman civilisation. A lively soundtrack and excellent mime contributed also (thank you, Mr Edwards!), and the boys enjoyed sharing their assembly with the school community. They were also very grateful for the support of so many parents who attended on the day.
Well done, 5S!
