Year 6 work with Year 1
6B and the two Year 1 classes had a wonderful morning of Science on Monday as they explored the strength of different plastic bags from major supermarkets. This was done in an interesting manner as we safely made some Year 1 boys stand in the plastic bags whilst the Year 6 boys lifted them just off the ground. We also explored what happens to smarties when you drop water on them and also different inks when you put them in water. All in all, we had a fun morning and made some new friends!
