A Challenging Course

On Thursday boys from Years 6 and 7 took the short journey to The Oratory Senior School for cross country. The course and competition were very challenging, however, the weather was perfect for cross country. It was fantastic to see every single Moulsford boy who took part giving everything they could muster on the hilly 3.3km course, the determination and effort shown was immense.

Year 6 went off first, all gaining respectable positions and just missing out on the team medals. In the Year 7 race, all the boys ran a very well-balanced race, keeping enough in the tank to climb the final hill to the finish line. Five of our Year 7 runners were placed in the top 20, from a field of 70 runners.  This meant that the boys were second in their team event, only losing out to a very impressive Abingdon Prep Team.

Well done to all the boys who competed!
