Gayhurst Tag Rugby Festival
The Under 8 A team made their way to Gayhurst on Saturday morning for their annual Tag Festival. The weather was kind as we gathered early, along with five other schools to play in a round robin format. We do not keep an official score at Under 8 level and instead focus on effort and performance. In both these areas the boys were fantastic. They soon got the journey, and the early start, out of their system and played some lovely rugby through the morning. There were numerous 'team' tries, involving some lovely straight running and some excellent offloads to supporting runners. All the boys played an equal part in the success of the team and had a very enjoyable experience.
