Trip to Brighton College
Our Under 13 Rugby team had an unforgettable experience at the IAPS tournament, held at Brighton College. Despite the early start at 7.00 am, the team, accompanied by Mr. Albon and Mr. Skinner, arrived safely, even as Storm Bert tried its best to disrupt their journey. Their spirits remained high, ready for a day of intense competition.
The team played seven fixtures, emerging victorious in five, with just two narrow losses in the final stages of the tournament. The boys displayed resilience and skill throughout, embodying the school's values of teamwork, endeavour, enthusiasm, toughness and humility. Their defensive work was breathtaking, earning high praise from the Brighton College staff.
It was a busy week for our players, who after competing in the IAPS tournament, played against Pinewood, and will be participating in the exciting Friday Night Lights fixture against St. John’s Beaumont. They have definitely earned their well-deserved break after such a hectic but successful period of rugby.
Well done to all the boys on a fantastic performance!
