Vesak Day is the day when Buddhists traditionally celebrate the birth, death and enlightenment of Buddha. In 2022, it falls on Monday 16th May. On the day, Buddhists traditionally celebrate by eating vegetarian food. As a result, we also celebrated on Monday by having a vegetarian lunch. In Assembly on Tuesday, 6A helped Mr Weeks highlight some of the things Buddhists traditionally do on Vesak Day to celebrate. We ended with the whole of 6A performing the 3 Steps 1 Bow Ritual!
