Brothers Sporting Success
Congratulations to Hamish I in Year 6 after his football team, Harwell and Hendred, won the Oxfordshire Youth A League Under 12s cup final on Friday night. They came fourth in the league itself, but beat the teams above them to claim the cup win in a nailbiting final at Clanfield. Hamish scored the first goal, of two. A huge well done to Hamish and his team.
The success didn’t stop there though and his brother Rory in Year 5 also won his cup final! Rory plays for Cholsey Bluebirds, and competes in the B league. It was a great result for his team and he is deservedly very pleased.
