It has been a fabulous start to term helped by the glorious Spring weather, and both the staff and the boys are delighted to be back in school. Moulsford is at its best in the Spring and Summer, and having missed out on much of the Summer 2020 term, there is masses to look forward to in the coming weeks.
While we are still working with some restrictions, Moulsford currently feels more or less like an ordinary school. Face to face Music and Learning Support lessons have recommenced, and we have needed to be creative with teaching spaces. Nigel Firth, our guitar teacher, is extremely happy with his new workspace in the cricket pavilion! There is much excitement in the air with our first fixtures since March 2020 taking place next Wednesday.
We do recognise though that life is not completely back to normal for everyone. The Year 7 and 8 boys are still wearing face coverings indoors (including lessons), which remains a significant adjustment for them, and we continue to be really impressed by how they have adapted. Likewise, we know that it must be very frustrating for parents not to have more regular touchpoints with the school, and particularly not to be able to watch your sons play in fixtures. Thank you again for your continued patience and support in relation to school life this term.
