The Oratory School Jazz Workshop for Prep Schools
Last Friday eleven members of the Jazz Ensemble attended a Jazz Workshop at The Oratory School, led by the Director of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra. Every instrumentalist present had a go at solo improvisation and at a concert for parents at the end of the day, the whole group performed two pieces in an authentic big band style. The whole event was a fantastic experience for everyone involved. Many thanks to The Oratory School for hosting such a wonderful afternoon.
