Celebrating our differences
The termly neurodiversity peer support lunch (for pupils with Autism/ADHD/ADD) was held on Tuesday and was a roaring success. All of the Learning Support team took part and we enjoyed talking about what the boys have in common and discovered some differences amongst the group, such as some people who don't like marmite or chocolate!
The team building games included breaking into groups and creating a t-shirt out of newspaper. With the finale of the lunch, being able to throw water balloons at the Learning Support team while naming strategies for that teacher’s allotted zone of regulation. It was a great way to round off the school year and we are already looking forward to the next term’s lunch.
