Oxfordshire Primary Schools Champions
Six runners from Year 4 represented the school in the last two rounds of the Oxfordshire Primary Schools Championship, held over 1500m, at the Oratory School on 11th February, and at Maiden Erlegh Chiltern Edge School last Saturday.
Both races were won by Oliver B who has been victorious in every event that he has contested this season, and is deservedly the individual champion. The frequent podium finishers, Lucas R and Finn R, were joined for the last 2 races by Gabriel E, who made a strong impression over the cross-country distance with a 2nd place at Oratory and a 3rd place at MECE. Over the season the boys have shown great team spirit and have learnt how to push themselves, and each other, over the intermediate distance.
