Oxfordshire Primary Schools Championship
Five runners represented the school in the third and final round of the Oxfordshire Primary Schools Championship, held over 1,500 m, at Maiden Erlegh Chiltern Edge School on Saturday, in crisp but dry conditions.
After a chaotic start, Oliver B soon moved into the lead and went on to win his second race from 2 starts. A little further behind, Finn R and Lucas R scored team points in 5th and 7th positions. Although a little off their best on this occasion, both Finn and Lucas’ performance over the three rounds was sufficient for them to finish in joint first place in the individual standings. Most importantly, Moulsford won the Year 4 team prize by a comfortable margin. Over the course of the championships a total of 10 boys represented the school, all making contributions to team spirit and winning the team prize.
