Prep Schools Orchestra Day
On Tuesday, six of our instrumentalists, Gilby B, Luke D, Sam G, Sri G and Henry R from Year 7 and Joss B from Year 5, were delighted to be invited to Radley for the Prep Schools Orchestra Day. This was an exciting opportunity for them to spend the day with children from other prep schools, working together to rehearse and perform orchestral music in a variety of styles. At the end of the afternoon they gave a performance as part of the 120-strong orchestra, showing their versatility with arrangements of four pieces ranging in style from Ed Sheeran to Brahms. A superb day was had by all and the boys are already looking forward to next year!
