A festive celebration
On Thursday the boys in Years 5 to 8 attended the annual Carol Service in the Falklands Memorial Chapel at Pangbourne College. There were performances from Year 5 and Year 6, who sung a French carol ‘Vive le Vent’. The Senior Choir were in fine voice with solos from Head Chorister Benji MC as well as Teddy C and Monty T, and the orchestra played beautifully with some fabulous arrangements. It was lovely to welcome back some Old Mole musicians to play in the orchestra too. With readers from across the whole school, and departing staff, it was a real community effort.
Thanks go to Karen Braden, Director of Music, and all of the staff who prepared the children so thoroughly, and to all of the parents who supported preparation at home, and at the service itself.
