Ending the half term on a high
On Wednesday and Thursday of Arts Week pupils from across the school took part in the popular Soirée concerts, showcasing the talent on offer at Moulsford with a variety of solo and ensemble performances spanning a wide range of musical genres. The String Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble and Pop Choir gave outstanding performances, and nine individuals shone with accomplished musicianship and engaging solo items. The Senior Choir gave the last performances of the evening, and they used dynamics to great effect to create atmosphere in the spiritual Swing Low, Sweet Chariot before rounding off the concerts with a powerful rendition of Riversong.
The final musical event of Arts Week took place on Friday afternoon when the Pop Vocalists presented their concert of stunning group and individual performances by our talented vocalists - an excellent way to end the half term on a high!
