Great tag rugby on display
The Moulsford Under 8 A Tag team went along to Gayhurst on Saturday morning to take part in their annual festival. Even though it was an early start the boys got stuck in straight away with a good victory over the hosts, playing some lovely rugby involving straight running and showing good handling skills. The boys continued in the same vein for their next two group matches before finishing the morning with a close fought game against Davenies.
It was a super morning, where the boys showed great progress through each game, the parents enjoyed the bacon rolls and coffee, and we were all finished in time to see England sneak past South Africa at Twickenham!
On Tuesday all the boys in Year 3 were involved with a block fixture against Caldicott Prep School. A brisk but dry afternoon allowed the boys to play some lovely rugby across the six Moulsford teams and some lovely team tries were scored on all the pitches. As ever Match Tea was also a highlight for the boys and overall it was a lovely way to wrap up the external fixtures for this term.
