Edward G makes it to the final 50
Congratulations to Edward G in Year 4 who has made it to the final 50 of the BBC Radio 2 500 Words competition. The competition, which started in 2011 is hugely popular and this year received over 135,000 entries, so it is a remarkable achievement to be a finalist.
Edward’s story is called ‘Charlie the Hero Dog’ and is now live on the Radio 2 website, having been recorded by an actor. You can read it here
Edward has been asked to be available on the 12th of June for the final, in whichever form that's to take place. Last year Harry M from Year 8 made the final 50 and attended a reception at Windsor Castle, so we are delighted that Edward can now follow in his footsteps. Well done Ed and good luck for the final!
