Introduction to China
Year 3 pupils were recently asked what they would like to do more of at school, and the resounding answer was Design Technology, so today they have taken part in a carousel of activities incorporating DT, Art and Music. The theme today has been China, as the children begin their topic on China this term. The day has involved creating a Chinese Dragon and making Chinese kites and the work produced has been stunning. The day culminated in a musical performance featuring the spectacular dragon and some fabulous drum beats, performed in front of an audience of staff and some pupils from Year 7 and 8. It was a brilliant day, thank you to the staff for all of your efforts in bringing the children’s ideas to life.
