Emerson selected for GB Junior Ski Team
Emerson P in Year 8 has been selected for the GB Junior Ski Team for the coming winter. He will be the youngest member of a team of ten GB athletes who will travel to Andorra in January to take part in the Troffeu Borrufa international race and will compete against top skiers from over twenty countries. He will take part in four days of highly competitive racing across all three alpine disciplines of Super G, Giant Slalom and Slalom.
His selection to the GB team is as a result of strong performances in the British Alpine Ski Championships at the end of last season where he was one of top 2006 boys across all disciplines. Emerson will be heading out to France in November to join his academy Apex2100 where he will spend the winter training ahead of what will be a very busy winter for him with races in France, Italy and Andorra already planned.
