Breadth of opportunities
When the weather changes and the river ‘closes for business’ until the summer, our Activities Programme broadens again, with more and more unusual and diverse options becoming available. This term we have hundreds of children taking part in a broad range of activities that cover Healthy Living, Performance and the Arts, Self-Development, Community and Service and Adventure.
In the Pre-Prep we have had children taking part in everything ranging from ICT, Yoga and Dodgeball, to Story Theatre and Finger Printing Fun. It has been fantastic to see the children get fully involved and take advantage of the opportunities on offer.
For the Juniors, we have seen pupils sign up for Helping our Community, Ceramics, Climbing and First Aid right through to Eco Writing and Ukelele. We have also got some keen sewers and the first Christmas decorations have now been created using our new sewing machines.
On offer for the Seniors has been Cookery, Science, Taskmaster, Darts, Mindfulness, Christmas Panto, Japanese Anime and everything in between!
We are currently devising the programme for the Spring Term and can’t wait to provide the children with even more exciting opportunities to try something new.
