Fun in the Prep School
This week the boys in Year 3 and Year 4 have split their time between the Oxford Boat Adventure and other activities based at school.
While at the Oxford Boat Adventure all the boys had the opportunity to go on the lake doing kayaking, canoeing and also have a go on the Monster SUPs. They built camps, camouflaged themselves to play concealment games, built fires, made themselves smores and popcorn, and even baked some bread.
Back at school the boys spent time in the pool, took part in treasure hunts, worked on their cooking skills and all contributed towards the Jubilee themed mosaic.
Some boys were also lucky enough to be on site when we were visited by an RAF Puma helicopter on Tuesday morning. Not only did they get to see the aircraft land and take off but they had the opportunity to have a tour of the helicopter and learn all about it from the pilots and crewman.
The week has been rounded off with It's A Knock Out style games on Friday morning and a short assembly (pulled together in record time!) on Friday afternoon.
Once again the boys seem to have had a wonderful week.
